Weezos launches the Clitheroe Mary and Lancashire Lassi, two cocktails concieved specially for the Launch of the Ribble Valley Food Trail. The Clitheroe Mary is a variation of the bloody mary using D.Burneys of Clitheroe delicious organic home grown tomatoes and local celery. The Lancashire Lassie is non alcololic and inspired by the traditional Asian cooling yoghurt drink, ours is made of local seasonal berries and Little Town Dairy yoghurt. The cocktails were such a hit they are now available on the menu at weezos. We had a great time on BBC radio Lancashire with Ted on his morning show, he also came for a meal to Weezos and loved it and if anyone knows about food Ted Robbins certainly does.

The launch was a great success and the canapes caused quite a stir, chef Stosie's highlight was when Philipa James food editor of Lancashire life popped into the kitchen and jumped right in and gave a helping hand were needed.

Best News Ever !!! Weezos is the launch venue for the Ribble Valley Food Trail on the 8th of July 2008.We will hold a canape reception showcasing regional goodies such as Lune salmon, Malham Dexter White Beef and Andrew Ireland Bury Black pudding as well as Formby asparagus of course.....
